We truly love our home! We scoured retailers from well-known West Elm to local gem, Scout, to furnish a home that we'd love to come home to every day, while at the same time, would allow our kids to play freely and not feel like they were in a museum. Indeed, we pride ourselves in the cozy, urban feeling you get when you live in our space. Artwork by local Chicago artists adorn nearly every wall of our newly built single family home. A vintage baby grand graces our front room.
Our dining room showcases a pendant made of glass jars that nearly every visitor comments on as well as paintings and pastels depicting our favorite desserts - Margie's ice cream, fruit tarts and cupcakes. Our main room: kitchen/living room is the place to be. Our family friendly reclaimed wood dining table doubles as our girls' art/homework center, and our giant chalkboard details the menu for the week. The entire back of our house is made of windows, which gives you a great view of our rooftop deck, which is the next best place to be. Three bedrooms upstairs and two bedroom downstairs make it the perfect home for our party of five!
