Main house has beautiful nonop fireplaces, original wood paneling & stained glass, huge formal entry and stairway and large basement. Decorated in late Victorian style, house is being renovated and has both beautiful and abandoned/spooky areas. Forest in back (see photos).
Cottage behind main house is headquarters for cast/crew with a full kitchen to use for crafty/catering (stove/oven, sink, refrigerator, restroom). Cottage kitchen is undergoing adorable 1920s remodel, nearly done and is ready to use.
Wardrobe rack, hand steamer, lunch table/chairs and some catering equipment will be provided for crew use. Back yard borders on the forest, neighbors are hidden by trees and no power lines to frame out. Ample street/driveway parking & room for a generator behind house. Country setting on the edge of the forest, in a charming little town with a park, gazebo and main street of shops. Minutes off of a freeway but quiet-- no planes, no freeway noise. Owner has worked in film for 20 years, very familiar with production needs and setup. Rate is negotiable, please inquire, will work with your budget. 5 hr drive from NYC & Philadelphia, 1 hr 45 drive from Erie. 75 miles from Buffalo & Rochester airports. Many local Airbnb accommodations within a 1-5 minute walk.
