Haute Goat Farm is a gorgeous, 200 acre farm located just an hour east of Toronto, 5 minutes north of the 401 and just west of Port Hope. Our home is a large, 6 bedroom century farmhouse, updated with a sense of warmth and style. There is a 1908 bank barn that is home to our 25 goats, exotic chickens. Also on the property are alpacas and Icelandic (and other horses). There are 30 bee hives here as well. We also have 2 beautiful Livestock Guardian Dogs that both welcome visitors and protect our livestock. The view is breathtaking and goes for miles. There are well kept trails that criss cross the property and a forest at the north end of the farm that was home to a part of the CN rail line many years ago.
We are outside the 'zone' and so we are eligible for the out of zone tax credit.
