Located within the Historic District of Park Slope was designed by Brooklyn architect William T McCarthy and built in 1919. "The growing importance of the automobile is reflected in the driveway between 63 and 64 , entered through a brick archway enclosed by wrought iron gates. These symmetrical houses, modified Georgian in style, are constructed of brick laid up in Flemish bond with double stretchers. Interesting features are the logias at the second story and sundeck at the top floor." (from description by NYC Landmarks Commission)
The house is 22 feet wide and 95 feet long with about 20 feet of garden behind the house.
The basement level includes a brick wine cellar.
The first floor includes living room, dining room and kitchen.
The second floor includes two bedrooms and two baths and a third bedroom converted into a medial room.
The third top floor includes a loft-like space opening into a rooftop garden, a bathroom and a library opening out onto the sundeck in front looking out onto Prospect Park.
The home underwent a gut renovation completed in 2008.
