Our stunning Squamish Craftsman home is only 10 years old and features beautiful river rock pillars, cedar porch, shingle sidings, and the Craftsman-style gables. It really is a pretty house set away from the neighbouring properties and with laneway access to a double driveway, double garage and additional laneway parking and access. The location has a large open-plan kitchen and dining room with double doors opening out to the backyard for great BBQ action. There is a spacious hallway with ground floor washroom, plus generous seating in the living room, stunning picture windows offering views of the Stawamus Chief mountain, plus a gorgeous river rock gas fireplace with cedar mantelpiece and a unique diamond-shaped window with views of the Tantalus mountain range. The location has a beautiful master bedroom with vaulted ceilings, walk-in closet, and a bright and airy ensuite, while the huge second bedroom (former media room) has uninterrupted front, side and back views of the local mountains, reading area, and ample desk space to work from. There are also two good-sized kids' bedrooms, also with epic views, and also a family bathroom. All are on the first floor, along with a hallway closet, and all are accessed by a decent size stairway, There is lots of outdoor space, with a large covered verandah at both front and rear of the house, and a partially fenced, grassed level backyard with abundant mountain views and much privacy, backed by neighbours from a distance on one side and with full fir tree hedging (16 foot) across the rear of the property. Nobody borders the laneway access. There is tons of parking, accessed by the wide private lane, and an impressive double garage for parking or sports equipment storage, plus full internal laundry with washer and dryer. The front of the property faces onto a fairly quiet road with amenities including coffee shop, bike shop, and restaurant directly opposite and, importantly, a large parking lot that is rarely full. There are no neighbours opposite or immediate to the front left or right so this really is a unique location. Nearby to the right is the wild Squamish river, scene to a number of local movies, and to the left is a small suburb with immediate trails into the forests. This property is light, bright and airy, located right in the heart of adventure country, and is a true mountain home with an interior that oozes country living and mountain life.
