Old World Deco Charming House

This home was build in 1910 with four separate floors. The ground floor is over 2.000 square feet with a formal living room and integrated and enclosed front porch, formal modern dining room, children's playroom with stone fireplace, kitchen and large family room open plan with large bay windows, a bar and games table and lastly a teak seasons room that connects to the large deck on a typical Chicagoland backyard and detached garage. The ground floor is full of old world character including picture rails and large arches with nautical rope embedded into the lathe. The ground floor has been completely updated. There are four bedrooms on the second floor, one with an original deco bathroom. It's noted that the second owner of the house belongs to Al Capone's gang and built a secret closet and safe in the dining room. Previous owners have said one of the second floor bathrooms was designed for All Capone himself. The third floor has an office, bathroom and large guest room. The basement is the fourth floor.
