1800's Log Cabin With All Modern Conveniences

Our home was an Artisan School where they taught and sold hand made products such as: pottery, stain glass, blacksmithing items, guitars, jewelry, and anything handmade. Our home was an arts teaching school with an outdoor wood fired kiln, blacksmith shop, and classrooms for making and spinning pottery. Upstairs, the main part of home, and upper bedrooms were used as a show place where artist could display their works and sell them. Our home was also used a show room for kitchen remodel ideas, library cabinet ideas, bathroom ideas, and flooring ideas. Our home is heated thru the floors and all floors are slate rock or wood, made from trees on our property, including the steps out of cedar and 2 TALL tree trucks that start in the basement/classroom area and go thru the second floor all the way to the 3rd floor. No one ever lived in our home until we bought it. We have transformed this massive amazing place into our home!! We have 2 bathrooms with claw foot tubs and old style sinks. We have a modern bathroom with shower downstairs near the blacksmith shop. The blacksmith shop has EXTREMELY LARGE wood sliding doors that open and you have the forge area with chimney in a rock walled room made from stones from property. Our home has been in magazines for Artist. There is a fully functioning amphitheater with lights and electric and seating cut into hillside. The logs from our home were from an old homestead in Indiana. The home was dismantled and transported here and rebuilt using those logs from the 1800's home. We have a LARGE front porch. To the back of our home is a creek, where we sit, listen, and watch the water and wildlife. We have one boxer dog and 6 chickens. There are so many unique facets to our home, it must be seen in person to appreciate.
