These are three buildings on adjacent properties, set beside a beautiful, decommissioned, covered bridge, on a dead end street, on the Rouge River. All buildings have direct river access. They are available as a package or separately. Building #1 "Au Pont Couvert" This is the largest building on the site. It has three bedrooms and was built in 1928. It has been completely renovated keeping as close to the original as practical. The wood floors and walls have been refinished and all the character of the era was kept. New wiring and insulation have been added. Building #2 is "La Petite Cah-Lyne". This was the first school house built in the district in 1886, though hardly recognizable as a school house now. The Interior ceilings on the main floor are 10' high with excellent natural lighting. It features a newly rebuilt gazebo over looking the river with excellent angles to the bridge and the river, and there is also a small work shop that looks like a french version of Gipetto might have worked there. The beams supporting the upper floor are the same beams that would have been found in the original bridge, had the bridge not burned down. These beams were furnished by the occupants of building #3, "L'atellier des Tulipes". Building #3 was built shortly before the school house and the original bridge. The look of the era has been maintained in the loft of the building and the exterior, less so on the main floor. The same lumber is found throughout this building that is found in Building #2. The building was originally a work shop producing windows and doors. These windows and doors are found thoughout Building #1. Walking distance to community centre, large enough to house base camps of most sizes, decommissioned covered bridge/banquet hall is two doors down. Located just off major highway, but tucked enough down the road no noise from the high way is heard. Mt Argent is five minutes away (rock climbing) local canoe outfitter is a 5 minute walk up the street. Mt Tremblant (skiing, festivals, climbing, cycling, golf) within 15 minutes.
