A warm and elegant Gold Coast property originally built in 1918 with many recent renovations. From floor to ceiling, there are many artistic architectural details and has two beautiful gardens. The home has been featured in Home & Garden magazine. We have three units that can be used. We are offering our home as a set for movies, TV shows and magazines
The first unit is a 1,600 square foot, single bedroom condo with a balcony and access to the courtyard that is lined by vinery. It has a grand living room with elaborate plaster moldings on the ceiling and beautiful herringbone wood floors. This living room space is great for large parties. Bathroom has a large clawfoot tub and black and white hexagon tiles.
The second condo is a 4,500 square foot 3 bedroom unit with a rooftop garden deck and access to the courtyard. The kitchen/living/dinning room is a wide open space offering Chicago's largest residential fireplace. The Italian Renaissance style unit has tons of natural lighting, unique stairways and exposed interior brick walls.
The last unit is currently a small, funky art/ceramic studio that includes a kitchen and bathroom.
Near by: 2 blocks from North Avenue Beach which has a great skyline view, 1/2 a block from Lincoln Park, Chicago History Museum, 0.7miles to Lincoln Park Zoo.
Availability: Flexible but Fridays-Sundays are best. Requires 30 days notice to book.
Parking: street parking (free before 6pm, residential after 6pm- we having guest stickers), parking lots nearby, 1-2 small car garage may be available.
Public Transit: easy access from Red line- Clark and Division, Brown/Purple- Sedgwick, Buses- 22, 72, 36, 156, 151, 70
Space access: Front door (requires a few stairs), courtyard access (requires a few stairs) via State Street or alley way, and garage (requires one step to get into the house. Door buzzing instructions: call S. Miller on the gate entry screen and she will allow access.
House Rules: No indoor smoking, keep main access ways closed, keep equipment out of common ways. Maximum of 50 guests.
You must have insurance.
