It is a home built in the Dutch Colonial revival style, and on the interior, reflects its early 20th century roots blended with modern updates throughout. With a long colonnade porch that faces the Sound, and a tear drop driveway on the south side, it is a classic home and estate from a bygone era. Private access to the beach, via wooden planked stairs, connects to a long boardwalk that brings you to the sand. The house sits in the middle of two great lawns, enclosed by woods on two sides, and expansive views both east and west, along the shoreline, providing a real sense of seclusion. The sunsets are breathtaking and the view across the Sound can be mesmerizing.
