This is a 2 story fully detached home comprised of, 1 1/2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms, full front porch ,semi finished rear basement and a secret front basement. The original rear section of the home was built in 1910, the front addition of the home was built in 1930. During Prohibition, making alcohol at home was a very common way of earning extra income.
In 1930, In addition to a larger front living room and porch addition, the owner added a secret second basement under the living area and concealed the entrance with a trap door in the porch floor. The steel tables with 3 larger circular holes and 3 Bunsen burner jets are still in the front basement today.
This property also offers 3 separate and distinct entrances. The front door to the home, a side door and a basement door. Each one can used for individual scenes allowing your production to use the same home as 3 different locations.
