Owned by the Old Kirby's, the space is a Welding Business in Tehachapi The Kirby's built from the ground-up after owning a few businesses in Glendora and Bakersfield. Upon aging, the property is now run-down--but perfect for filming. There is 50 acres of property and amazing trinkets sprinkled throughout this holder of history that make for unbeatable Scenes and Scenery. After a winding dirt road, you'll approach an area with various country-style units spaced far apart--Main House with a decent-sized driveway, Little House next to an abandoned studio nicknamed "The Shed," an abandoned home with a Mary Altar, and lastly an abandoned welding shop with an apocolyptic feel on both the interior/exterior. In the winter the Old Ranch is covered with snow, wild animals such as deer, mountain lions, bunnies, coyotes, etc are found on the property and must be respected. Neighboring the property on one side are horses, on the other side are cattle. While I've been around the world, I've both seen and captured the most beautiful sunsets right here in Tehachapi.
