Our studio was designed by photographers FOR photographers and videographers. It is a creative functional flash and natural light photography space. Wabi Sabi meets the Yucatan in minimalist neutral designs curated for the artists who crave simplicity. It includes a 12 ft high small cyclorama, a seamless backdrop area, 8 large windows facing north west, 1928 restored claw foot tub bathroom, 200 sq/ft hemlock wooden floor platform at windows level for optimal natural light, 20 plants for a perfect jungle wall, waiting area and private hair and makeup area *A railguard has been added on the platform **15% provincial taxes are included in the prices** Please make sure you read ALL the rules. We built this place with our own hands, it is our working space. Everyone is absolutely welcome here, but being respectful is NON negotiable. 1- Amount of cars on location for the day, needs to be disclaimed with us first. Every car will need a visitor permit (available in the studio). We will send an image showing parking locations 2- No indoor shoes in the studio past the entrance ($100 charge if not respected) 3- Absolutely no walking on the platform with pointy heels (the platform is custom made with a vintage soft wood that with easily break if you do that) ($300 charge if not respected) 4- No smoking in the studio, nor in the building ($300 charge if not respected) 5- No shooting allowed in the hallways / building property ($200 charge if not respected) 6- Please, do not drag furniture, ask for help and lift them up ($100 charge if not respected) 7- There's a 8$ charge / foot of the backdrops we need to cut if you damage/dirty it by stepping on it 8- Capacity limit of the studio is 8 people, unless agreed upon beforehand ($50 charge / extra people if not respected) 9- If you use the island in the kitchen, do not sit on its extension where there is no support ($300 charge if not respected) 10 - Move any plants you want, unless it's the fiddle leaf in the bathroom. He's not going to like that ($100 charge if not respected) 11- No access to the mezzanine ($300 charge if not respected) 12- Your set up / cleaning time is included in your booking time. You will be charged an extra $25 / 15 minutes mark over your booking time, unless agreed upon beforehand. 13- Don't forget to lock the door (by pressing SCHLAGE on the pad) on your way out 14- Cleaning and maintenance fee, if applicable, is for regular cleaning and maintenance, NOT for cleaning up messes. Please respect the space and put garbage in the garbage can (bring back with you anything that surpass our garbage bag capacity please), put furniture back where you found it and wash any dishes you've used before you leave. Strict no glitter policy. If you leave a mess, or if props or furniture are left NOT where you found them/disheveled - you will be charged an automatic additional fee of $75 for cleaning and or reorganization Don't forget to have fun! Guidelines to help on the day of - USB JBL charge speaker is on the black table under to monitor. It works with bluetooth and will show up as “ JBL charge” press down on bluetooth symbol until your phone or computer connects. Makeup mirror also includes USB speakers. Enjoy the music, but please don't abuse the volume. - The microwave is available to you and your clients. Refrigerator can also be used. Please be aware the studio is also our full time office, we do keep the kitchen fully stocked all year round. Full use of kitchen for branding shoot is encouraged. - A private washroom with a restored functional 1920’s claw foot tub is available for photos. HMUA/changing room inside the studio is available. A washroom outside Studio 3A is also available. - 42 inches HD TV for tethered shoots, 3 white photography boxes in different sizes, hand steamer, rolling rack are also available for use. Workshops + Events + Client Sessions You are responsible for letting people in at street level if you plan to have clients or workshop attendees coming to the studios during your reservation. Chairs/stools available, ask us in advance if you need certain props. - Building Rules Loading dock on level, upon request only. You must tell us that you will use the loading dock in advance so we can be here for the manipulation. - Safety / Security There are two security cameras mounted in the studio for safety and accountability purposes. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. **Covid specifics** Hand washing required upon entrance for yourself and your clients. Face masks available upon request, let us know as soon as possible how many you will need.
