Grand Ballroom And Lobby Bar

Our massive, 2,300 sq. ft. ballroom is the perfect venue for photo shoots, filming, events of all types, weddings, workshops, classes, dance, performances and so much more! Formerly a Swedish lodge and then Latvian Cultural Center, this space has exceptional character but is simple enough to be molded into any vision you have. The building is now home to a community center for Chicago artists with eight practicing artists making work in private studios on-site. Renting the ballroom also includes access to our green room, back stage lighting and sound, a lobby bar that can be used as a separate waiting/staging area, two bathrooms and a shared kitchen. Please note: the ballroom is located on the second floor of the building, but has easy and direct access from the street. We're also located across the street from a grocery store and a garden center -- which makes feeding your crew and decorating the space easy!
