This gorgeous ivy covered home located on the far South Side of Chicago features an amazing cement and limestone wrap around porch that will transport you to an era long ago where flappers danced and champagne flowed freely. This stately manor is set back from the street and located on one of the most beautiful blocks in the North Beverly neighborhood of Chicago. This home does not have landmark status but was the former estate of the founders of the health-o-meter doctor scale. The original residents threw lavish parties in the 20s and 30s and as a result the residence became known as the “Beer Crawl Inn”. Some parts of this home, including the third floor guest suite, appear to be frozen in time with original woodwork and windows. The showstopper of the home is the sun-drenched solarium with five French doors that exit onto the limestone patio.
