The 1916 Max Almond House is a 3,000 sq. ft. American Foursquare style home with Colonial Revival and Bungalow influences. It sits on a 1/2 acre lot in the 3rd Avenue Historic District in Corsicana, Texas (just south of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex).
The property features mature trees, large open spaces, and period-appropriate landscaping. The owners are currently installing brick walkways and restoring the home’s rose garden.
The Historic Max Almond home fell on hard times in the 1990s and was abandoned in 1998. In 2020 it was scheduled for demolition but was saved by local preservationists who have now made it their family home. The home is continually being restored and improved and will provide a flexible and beautiful location for your projects.
