The Sparrow House was built in 1885 and restored to its current life by Candis and Andy Merideth on the Facebook Series , “Win This House.” It is a lovely mix of traditional and modern.
The original shiplap room in the back, now a bedroom, is a rare find in Utah. They were used as summer kitchens and thus, most have burned down. You can still see the round cutout for the stove pipe.
There is a secret room off of the bunk room. The door is hidden and accesses the former “sleeper porch” of the home.
Special care is needed for the dining room wallpaper and there is no smoking in the home.
The home has 2 driveways which makes parking and production easier. It also situated on 1/3 of an acre lot.
There is a beehive in the backyard with mild honeybees. We also have a trampoline, fruit trees and raspberries in the back yard.
