25 bedroom with history. Built in 1837 as a Resident and Tannery. Then turned into apartments for loggers after the Civil War. Early 1900’s the Crockett family purchased it for a Hotel. It was known as the place at the end of the sidewalk where life begins. After that a lady purchased that dealt in Antiques. Then in 1970 a playwright and Director from Yale purchased it for a Summer home to house actors and stage crew for the Summer theatre he had founded a few years earlier. The theatre grew out of the property and moved on. My husband and I own the property and only use it during the summer. The main house is 2 story and the additional part of the house is 3 stories. Summer theatre still active close by (55 years)

Productions may cancel their Booking between 5 days and 24 hours before the production start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Set Scouter Fees) of their rental price.
