Our 3,600 sq ft, Japanese-influenced, contemporary, wood beam and stone home is 3 years old. The kitchen has white cabinets to the ceiling, high-end Viking appliances, grey countertops (with large island and peninsula) and warm maple floors throughout. We have 10 foot ceilings and large windows with overhead transoms. The main floor is open with a large living room, fireplace, dining area, family room, kitchen, stainless steel and wood stair case feature, and home office. There are also lots of trees and vegetation outside that bring green tones into the space. Outside, we have kept the old magnolia trees and vegetation in the backyard that also acts as a canopy over our back deck which is bordered by a stone waterfall that flows down the back stairs and away from the house. There is two car garage off the alley for storage and a bike shed tucked in the corner.
