A beautiful cottage on the waterfront, with a huge deck and dock providing a panoramic view of Lake Couchiching near Orillia. The stunning western view showcases beautiful sunsets in the evening and blue water and sky in the day. The waterfront has a sloped lawn leading to a large deck and separate dock for swimming or gatherings. Indoors, there is a living room with a lovely sectional sofa and adjacent sun room/dining room leading to an outdoor hottub that is sheltered from the elements. There are two bathrooms and three bedrooms, with rustic bunk beds made of pine logs in two of the bedrooms. Above, there is a large deck for entertaining and al fresco dining seating 8 people that can be accessed through floor to ceiling sliding glass doors off the living room. The deck overlooks the lake from above. There is a huge cast iron fire pit by the water flanked by blue Muskoka chairs. In the winter, the '80s pot-bellied ceramic and brass wood stove casts a warm glow in the living room. People go skiing and skating across the lake and have outdoor fires for hot chocolate and to warm up after ice fishing. The home is heated and available year-round. It is minutes from Casino Rama, public beaches, and the charming towns of Orillia and Washago. There are also resorts and hotels within a few kilometres of the cottage.
