Shelter Hill is a historic country estate that dates to 1865. It sits on 20 acres of meadows, forests and rivers in a village of gracious and notable homes. The property has a 10,000sf barn built in 1909 with 15’ doors, a cobblestone courtyard and 8 mahogany horse stables, a fox hunting kennel, and an 8000sf manor home built in 1865. It has been left virtually unchanged since it was built. Charles Lindbergh would land his plane in our field when visiting the Myron Herrick who lived here in the early 1900s.
