This is a mostly empty slice of heaven parcel of land situated near the top of Mt. Tuam on Salt Spring Island. The height is a staggering 450 metres, similar to the top of the empire state building. The view takes your breath away, on clear days you can see dozens of islands, Victoria, Mt Baker, and everything in between with ferries and ships traversing below and a completely clear line of sight due to a clear-cut right below.
It is a sloping mountainside property with several flatter areas large enough for activities, and a partially forested area. There is a couple of small off the grid bunkie cabins in use on the lot, and the owner lives on the property.
This view makes the Malahat Skywalk look like nothing! People have asked if this was somewhere in New Zealand when they see photos. Must see it to believe it.
