Welcome to Waverland Path, an architecturally stunning and light-filled single-family home tucked away in the woods of a quiet community on Lake Michigan with beach access. Walk to the end of the driveway, down the stairs, and a short distance along the sand, where you’ll be able to enjoy a secluded and quiet stretch of state beach. Or hike for miles in the trails that run through the woods behind the home. This landscape will rejuvenate you. The main floor is mostly an open floor plan consisting of great natural finishes and comfy furniture. There is an inviting family room with a fireplace, a great and fully-equipped kitchen, and a dining area that has an expandable table so everyone can dine together. The kitchen itself is modern and very well appointed with everything you need, from the coffee maker to a plethora of wine glasses and even a waffle iron! The house is surrounded by elevated wrap-around decking so that you can spend quiet time outdoors and feel like one with nature living among the trees. Two bedrooms are on the upper floor, including the main bedroom with a bathroom ensuite and a second bedroom just off the dining area. The third bedroom is another main suite on the ground level of the house and is essentially identical to the upstairs main bedroom. There is also a small TV area with a queen sleeper sofa on this ground level of the house. Beach chairs and lake toys are included and they are located in the garage (to which you will have keypad access). What's nearby: The nearest town is Stevensville, MI, which is only 90 miles from Chicago and has a downtown that has many restaurants and unique stores. The location is actually a great place if you want to be close to St. Joseph and Benton Harbor, which both have downtown areas with great shopping, food, and breweries. There are also many fun outdoor activities around, such as the Grand Mere State Park and the Warren Dunes State Park! Waverland Path is the kind of house that is delightful during any season. You can enjoy the beach during the summer, the changing of the leaves in the fall, snuggle up next to the fireplace and enjoy the snow in the winter and then watch the cycle of life renew itself in the spring while being surrounded by birds. This is the perfect semi-remote getaway for enjoying nature and spending some quality time along Lake Michigan's Coast!
