This place is very special to us. Coming from a city lifestyle & escaping into nature has been extremely healing for us. Cuddling up by the fireplace, enjoying the breathtaking sunset views from the master-bedroom & the great-room. Cooking up a storm in the kitchen & enjoying a great meal with family & friends. Going on adventures & exploring all the trails/beaches near by. Interior design is inspired by a mix of boho/modern vibe with vintage pieces from local shops and small home businesses.
The space
There are 3 bedrooms with new beds and mattresses. 1 queen size bed with a large window ( linens are provided ) 1 bunkbed, double size at the bottom with twin on top. ( linen are provided) Finally they master bedroom which over looks Winnipeg Lake and has access to the deck comes with a beautiful king size bed ( linens are provided)
Fully stocked bathroom - Bath tub/shower. Hand soap/shampoo /conditioner/toilet paper/ hair dryer/ first aid kit provided.
Bath towel/hand towel and face towels are provided.
Washer and Dryer with detergent and fabric softener provided.
Great-room is the heart of the cottage. Breath taking sunset views! Cozy up by the fireplace, play board games, watch dvds, enjoy some music with bluetooth system or you can connect with the Aux wire. There is a ceiling fan which can be used all year around.
Walk to the deck from the dining room and enjoy the 6 seat patio setup while bbqing/chilling and enjoy the views of lake Winnipeg
Enjoy the endless amount of activities, build a bon fire, walk 1 min to the private beach through the side gate. Walk to the harbour and take beautiful pictures during the golden hour. Take your boat out, go fishing all year around, bird watch, enjoy the wild life, go hiking, there are snowmobile trails and much more.
Amateur Astronomy -enjoy observing or imaging celestial objects in the sky using the telescope. During those clear days take the telescope and look at the moon, its beautiful! stargaze all night long, so magical.
Kitchen is ready for any chef to cook. Coffee, tea, sugar, herbal teas, griddle, air-fryer, fondue set, oil, salt pepper etc. please bring your own spices.
Water-The water from the taps is not potable. For drinking/cooking, please bring your own water or use the water dispenser - 1 18L jug will be provided depending on your length of stay.
There is a small 4-1 pool table. ping pong table/ fouse ball table/ air hockey table in the garage which is accessible for your stay
