This beautiful home was built in 1837, located in a small Illinois town founded in 1814, and only 20 minutes from St. Louis. The home is near a private university, everything within walking distance. The home boasts 15 rooms decorated period appropriate or easily can be. Original hardwood floors are present as are pocket doors. Cellar is easily accessible, low ceiling and effectively creepy stone walls and cobblestone floor. Corner lot with well-established trees and lush grass, with existing 1890's fencing (wood, brick, or wrought iron depending on spot). Would love to be a location for photography and films/commercials!
