Drive up our gravel driveway to one of the oldest homes in the area. Located an hour west of Chicago, we're renovating an original 1870s farmhouse on a double lot with the oldest trees in the county [verified by arborist]. Our large covered front porch also sets the vibe for our home. They just don't build houses like this anymore. We've renovated the majority of spaces, but still have some works in progress. Most of our rooms have bright white walls and dark hardwood floors [second floor is original pine floors that have been refinished].
