Our Stranger Things House

Twenty-nine acres of sloping fields, several pockets of wooded areas, and a small natural spring that starts from a small wooded den and snakes its way along a winding ravine to end in a pond at the southeast corner, beside the driveway's entrance to the main street. There is a farm vehicle entrance also on the main street on the southwest side of the property for field access along a makeshift driveway that passes a seasonal pond in the first field. There is another road that runs at the borders of the north fields, but as of yet, there is no entrance built from that road to those fields. Frequent visitors of coyotes, deer, eagles, a crane and Canada geese can be seen usually around a large pear tree set behind the main house. Naturally occurring slopes drain excess rain fall and snow melt to the start of a spring midway on the property and ensures the fields won't flood. Fields are groomed several times a year in the warmer months. Set 700 feet back along a rustic driveway is the three-level main house built in the late 1970s. Stepping inside the vintage art deco home built by a European craftsman, time seems to have stopped somewhere back in the mid-eighties. The furnished two main floors are unoccupied with a dozen rooms that store vintage artwork from the 1960s, an assortment of taxidermy, vintage 60s and 70s home decor and a large collection of antique Javanese furniture and Eastern art relics. There is a furnished coach house with a fenced-in yard on the main street, a large barn, carport, garage, tractor shelter, dog kennels, and a cow shelter. Paranormal activity includes sounds of moving furniture, lights and taps turning on, apparitions, audible footsteps and doors opening throughout the house's history, but primarily centers on the upstairs bedrooms of the main house; however, sightings have been reported by former tenants in the coach house of a man running up the field with his clothes on fire.
