This 19th-century home is a stunning abandoned Victorian-style mansion. The Mansion is fairly well known in the abandoned and URBEX photography world having been featured by many prominent photographers. The Mansion's Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization trying to raise money to save the mansion and protect it from a planned housing development.
Farmville is an excellent location and is home to both a university (Longwood) and prestigious college (Hampden-Sydney). The mansion is located 5 - 10 minutes from town and is directly beside a Championship golf course - The Manor Golf Course.
