In the backyard you will find our own private wharf which is great for swimming, fishing or just hanging out. We even have a small beach. We also have a firepit to enjoy outdoor fires by the ocean while looking at the stars on those wonderful warm summer evenings. Whether you want to sit back and relax on the comfortable patio furniture, go for a hike, or use one of our bikes on the miles long Rails-to-Trails pathway, or enjoy a coffee at the Bike and Bean the possibilities are endless. Take a quick drive down to one of the 5 beaches close by. The cute seaside village of Hubbards features antique shops, restaurants as well as an entertaining music venue. Tantallon, 5 mins away, has all the amenities you will need such as banks, grocery and liquor stores. Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg, Blue Rocks and Mahone Bay are all quick day trips along the famed Lighthouse Route. Halifax itself, is only a 25min drive or taxi/uber drive if you would like to enjoy the sights of the city. Our home is perfect for a family, 2 families or a few couples.
