People describe this house as very L.A. Quite eclectic, while contemporary in decor. Most of the furniture is white, the walls are white with wood accents. Lots of antiques mixed with modern pieces.
The wow factor is the large high ceilinged living room sloping toward a fireplace in the back stone wall. Some of the walls feature large paintings and there are African touches all over the house from rugs to textiles, artwork and curio. The split levels allows you take in 3 floors simultaneously - — there are 4 levels.
The house is set on 5 acres and backs onto Gatineau Park land with a farm next door. It's private and spacious. A walk through the back yards leads to the Gatineau Park and down to the La Pêche River. A charming location with tons of character.
