The Farm Just Down The Street

Our peaceful escape from city life is only 5 minutes from downtown Georgetown but if you sit on our front porch you will feel miles away. Our home is situated on 49 acres. 17 farmed with crops and the other filled with a relaxing pond filled with fish, a peaceful creek that relaxes anyone with its sounds of running water, a mysterious forest that surrounds the most perfect picturesque update farmhouse. With its surrounding patio and historic stone this house offers history and class. With updated tall ceiling and many breathtaking windows it provides a marvellous feel inside as you look out and see nothing but nature. As You step out of the house you smell the fresh air and perfume from many flowers growing but the most amazing sent is the perfume from the growing grape vines that cover two trellises. These beautiful trellises create a wonderful feel of the European dinners often seen in movies. As you hear the relaxing sounds of the small waterfall that the creek has provided for you, you are reminded there is a special home waiting for you. The stone from the original home almost four generations ago continues through the house up to the second floor. With natural stone on the walls, the light floors and fresh walls give a pop of freshness. The kitchen though traditional with little spark is large and bright and has a perfect stone fireplace that warms the room. With all The lovely large rooms the sunroom used as our dining room is our favourite. The windows, the skylights, the beautiful few that sometime offers us deer sighting also glances onto our remarkable pool. Though separated slightly from the house it offers a feel of beauty. The remarkable vine that covers our fence gives a breathtaking backdrop to our chaise. We pop open the striped umbrellas and think yes this is perfect!
