Legend has it that the original owner purchased the home in Savannah and had it moved board by board in 1820 to its present location. It now sits on just under 2 acres and has frontage on three streets. It is near the Monticello Town Square where the house predates. In the summer of 2022, a luxury brand acquired the property.
