Perched on a ridge, this newly built, 6800 square foot "upstate modernist" home features 5 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms, overlooking Black Creek State Forest and offers views as far as the Catskill Mountains. The house has two stories, with a gym, a pneumatic elevator, ceilings as high as 16 feet, and a 120 foot long wood deck providing access to the western view. This view offers amazing sunsets and mountains as well as fall foliage, all seen through oversized glass doors and windows.
The property also has a tennis court and a pond, both with the same dramatic views, and is surrounded by rock outcroppings. The house has a long driveway of about 850 feet, and there is a side patio with a stone floor and fire pit. The property is located about 15 minutes from the Poughkeepsie Train Station, on the western side of the Hudson River, and is about an hour and forty five minutes from NY City.
Parking is available for up to 25 cars and can accommodate trucks or vans as well.
