The Bungalow is an organic contemporary home situated in the heart of Armstrong's Point - Winnipeg's first Heritage Conservation District. We are directly across the street from where The Porter was filmed and across the backyard from where the Don Cherry Movie was filmed. The area is known for its tree canopy, large properties, no backlanes and historic homes. It is Winnipeg's oldest, innercity residential neighbourhood. This home is one of three 50s bungalows in a row - all designed by the same architect.
The home has a monochromatic, Scandinavian, wood-with-white look. The effect when people walk in is one of peace and calm. All appliances are new. Everything is clean and simple yet comfortable. The main floor is open concept, as is the lower level, which is like a separate suite really. There is one bedroom upstairs and one down.
I am also offering it as a short term rental for producers, actors, directors as we are gone six months of the year.
