Zen Nature Oasis

Imagine turning up a private street to see towering redwoods along your drive. You pull up into a long and minimalist driveway and feel the immensity of the redwoods next to you. The home before you is handsome, one story and sits in the natural zen aesthetic. As you pass through a high wooden fence, you walk along a curvy path, under a Magnolia tree, then a few steps more opening up into a long side yard of two semi-circles linked with a wise old Elm tree. In the distance, you see a hilltop. To your right, you see a long set of windows, framed in black aluminum framing, giving the home a transitional feel, but fitting into the natural zen peacefulness. When you enter the front door which sits in this side yard, you enter an open living room, styled in a minimalist and contemporary aesthetic. To your left, a hallway leading to three bedrooms. To your right, there is a former dining room turned office. A few steps further, you open to a contemporary kitchen-family room-dining nook area. A large indigo sectional spreads out over an abstract Turkish rug. To its right, a reading nook, the family's favorite spot for gazing out at the idyllic yard and reading. Moving past the family room, you enter a smaller hallway with a laundry room. And then, the magnum opus of the master of the house - the professional level sound engineering studio. There, in addition to tech company marketing decisions, works for bands and commercials are mixed and mastered. Walking through the house, out of the master bedroom, you see the in-ground pool before you. To the right, a state of the art outdoor kitchen. To the left, outdoor sofas for lounging, set upon a backdrop of green and yellow leaves by the trees peeking through the slated black fence. You relax and take it all in.
