Entire private island, comprehensively wooded, with a 3-bedroom bungalow. Magnificent views across one of Quebec's prettiest lakes match with the awesome wildlife including golden eagles nesting on neighbouring islands. Cleared paths snake their way through the well-maintaned forest. House has all modern conveniences including fresh water, flush toilets, shower and mains electricity as well as top-of-the-line wood stove and a small orchard at the rear. Furnishings are comfortable, albeit a tad plain and modest. Please note that the light fittings and electrical system have been upgraded since the photgraphs were taken. It is also hoped that, by the end of Spring, the library will have been fully fitted out. Wi-Fi is available at the end of the pier. Only 300 metres from the mainland with boat available for onsite use. (Lake is shallow, under 6 feet deep most of the way.) On the mainland, it is a short walk to the shops and bars of the centre of town as well as a nearby secluded campground and the world's largest slate quarry. (Incidentally, this is the only inhabited island with a house on the entire lake)
