This is a unique house in Bucks County, PA. Originally built by a dare devil circus performer as a restaurant and inn, over the years it’s been an ice cream shop and currently a home. We recently had a replica of the original coffee pot made and installed on the chimney.
It’s located on 6 acres with canal out back and overlooks the Delaware River. The original portion of the home now used as the main living area is a Tudor style. The other additional parts of the home are more neutral with built ins from the 50’s. The original dumbwaiter is in the kitchen and in the side near the screened in porch is the phone booth with the rotary phone.
The house was built on the old mule bank barn and stretches the full length of the house. The original stone fireplaces are in the yard that the canalers used while towing boats by mule.
Many original items are still here including the memorabilia and items found on the land, like old bottles
