Cozy little brick house in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood. The house is a ranch-style construction built in the 1970s. It is a single-story home (not counting crawlspace and attic) and sits comfortably off of the street.
The interior flooring is primarily hardwood, with tile in the bathroom and kitchen. The attached garage and the laundry room connected to it have concrete floors. It is a small house, but not cramped. The living room is large and open, and it features a big bay window looking out into the front yard. The windows offer a lot of natural sunlight inside the house during the daytime. Much of the lighting inside is smart lighting, with variable color, brightness, and temperature options.
The house sits on a fairly large lot. The front and back yard areas are big with lots of room. The left side yard (facing the house from the street) is where the driveway comes through and loops around a cherry tree with a patio area and outdoor swing. An abandoned railway easement cuts across the lot, hugging the edge of the property line. The railway tracks are all still in place, but will not have any train traffic again, since they have been marked exempt from rail crossing laws.
We have several outdoor electrical outlets installed throughout the yard, so electricity is generally pretty accessible around the yard. Highspeed WiFi reaches all across the property. A 10/100/1000 16 port ethernet switch with PoE ports is available for wired connections. The garage door has smart control, an interior button opener, and coded keypad functions. The property is protected with 24/7 monitoring by an electronic security system.
A 2014 Mercedes-Benz ML-350 Bluetech turbo-diesel SUV is also available on-site for static shots or shots on the interior of the vehicle.
Part of the backyard is fenced-in with a chain-link fence. Inside of the fence, there is an outbuilding with two rooms. One room is a storage area, the other is a workshop, or it was meant to be until my grandfather died. It contains a number of vintage tools and supplies he left behind. We have a hot tub area with smart string lights directly behind the outbuilding.
You won't need to constantly explain "what's happening next" with me. I am a filmmaker myself, so I understand the ins and outs of what happens on set behind the scenes. I will be out of your way and let your team do their thing. You'll also have access to additional filmmaking equipment on site if you wish.
