Our 3500 square foot, 4 bedroom home was built as a log cabin in 1975. Since then there has been additions which are not log, but all of the original log elements remain (great for Christmas movies!). Downstairs there is a bedroom, kitchen, a lounge and dining area, and a bathroom, plus a couple of seating nooks. Upstairs we have 4 bedrooms, and a very large living area, plus a bathroom. It is a house with character, and is a great “Christmas house”. We also have a small wine cellar / tasting room in a separate building which has easy access through a large garage door.
The house is situated in Mount Lehman in Abbotsford. It is at the end of a cul-de-sac and there is easy access and parking. There is a large mature garden surrounding the house. The property where the house is situated is over 6 acres in total. As well as the house and garden, there are approximately 5 acres of “rough land” which has a somewhat derelict (but still usable) cabin on it, as well as 2 ravines. If not used for filming, the rough land could possibly be used for parking and equipment, although it does get quite boggy in winter or wet weather as it is mostly clay.
