120 Year Old Victorian In Ditmas Park Brooklyn

This house has had five owners in 120 years and not a lot of work has been done. It's very well maintained and the historical details are here and beautiful. The living areas on the 1st floor include a parlor with stunning built in bookcase with lead glass, large dining room, big cozy living room with tall wood paneling and long vintage pantry. The kitchen is not modern. I have a 1950's imperial oven, no dishwasher. It's very large and has a lot of open space but it is not fancy. Four bedrooms and a full bath on 2nd floor. Two bedrooms are used as offices. The third floor has a giant bedroom with beautiful windows, a home gym and a small area that leads to a dormer and storage. There's a full bathroom as well. The basement has the original coal burning, now gas, furnace. It is clean, dry and pleasant, had a great work area and a lot of open space. The entire exterior space was just landscaped, so none of the images you see on Google maps are accurate. The exterior is asphalt shingles, it's pretty beat up looking but when you walk inside it's warm and has a really homey feel. I have a cat named Dude and he is very personable. My college aged son lives here when he is not away at college.
