The property is located in Northern Illinois just south of the Wisconsin border. It is 18 miles south of the famous Lake Geneva, WI area. The 233 acre property surrounded by mature woods, crop land, a pond, and rolling hills. You enter the property via a long tree lined, winding driveway. Outside the back of the house is an inground pool.
The house is a modern, rustic post and beam house with lots of character. Inside the house there are 3 bedrooms all with bathrooms attached and a main floor powder room. The basement is partially finished with a rec room, bunk room, bathroom and sauna. The kitchen area is a big open space with a large island, eating area, and reading nook. There is a 3 season room off the kitchen and a screened in porch off the living room. The living room/ family room has a large stone fireplace that was made with rocks from the property.
