Welcome to The Beacon Abode! Located in the beautiful mountain town of Beacon, New York. This bespoke designed bungalow nestled in the heart of Beacon is a perfect spot in New York's famous Hudson Valley. This west coast inspired home is bright, airy and modern with beautifully-restored architectural details honoring its east coast roots.
Located Just 51 miles from New York City, The Beacon Abode is on a quiet street just a three minute walk from the base of Mount Beacon and a ten min walk to Main Street. Enjoy everything Beacon has to offer - hiking, craft coffee shops, breweries, cocktail bars, farm to table restaurants, boutiques, and so much more. On the weekends walk Main Street and shop the local farmers market, antiques, and flee markets.
Every piece of furniture and decor was handpicked to provide you the perfect designer-quality getaway, focusing on natural simplicity with contemporary luxuries.
THE SPACE
Originally built in the 1950s and renovated in 2021 you will see the original details shine through. Furnished with a mix of new and antique finds collected through the years, the furniture and neutral color palette provide the ideal setting for you to unwind.
The Beacon Train Station is located 1.5 mile away from the home, a direct line to NYC Grand Central Station in just 90 minutes.
Enjoy your morning coffee by the wood burning fireplace, soak up the sunshine on the front porch, or an afternoon cocktail al fresco on our deck in the large yard surrounded by trees.
The designer kitchen is equipped with all new appliances and finishes as well as cooking utensils, pots and pans, and spices for the modern cook. Thoughtful details surround the space.
