Evergreen Escape

A place my mom bought to raise my sister and I and start her life fresh. Where the trees were freshly sown into the land and even then we were impressed with their magnitude. Where we planted a willow tree as children which has grown to sway and overshadow the pond, protecting us and the spot where my dog is buried like grandmother willow in Pocahontas. My mom grows vegetables and fruits from her large garden on the north side of the house which end up in here award winning pie when she submits them in the Williamstown Fair every year (Canada's oldest annual fair). If you'd like to know anything more just come on down and have a gander. Life is quiet and simple here. One neighbour to the south, but to the north are cornfields I run through and catch the occasional critter (a mole was my last one - careful, the cutie's do bite). Across the road to the west of the property you may find the odd fairy statue which I've strategically hid for my 5 and 3 year old nephew and niece (respectively).
