Early 1900s Home In Historic Hastings On Hudson

1906 home, wooden shingled, on quaint street in Hastings on Hudson. Walking distance to town, with lots of little shops and cafes. We are located three houses from a beautiful trailway, with baseball field, community gardens. The house itself has been renovated, though retains period moldings. The downstairs (covered porch), opens into a relatively modest living room with fireplace and recessed lighting, and built in bookcases. It is an open layout into the dining room with a large wooden table and church pew, simply decorated and easy to move furniture around. The kitchen is small but modern, with a counter that opens into the dining room. Off the dining room are french doors leading to a wooden raised deck overlooking the community garden and trail. On the second floor, you will find 3 bedrooms and one bath, relatively close together. And, on the third floor are two additional bedrooms with sloping ceilings, and a window/window seat looking out onto the front street. There is only street parking but there is ample parking on the street behind our house and in a lot. I would describe the house as a modest, cozy, warm space that is not too cluttered. There is a basement if needed for storage. We do not have a garage.
