Large Cabin On 37 Acres In Appalachian Mountains

This is a large cabin and separate treehouse with sweeping views of the mountains. The home is full of windows and natural light, cabin decor and large natural wood posts. Inside is also all wood to give a rustic, cabin feel while also feeling elegant. The fireplaces are elegant natural stone and antiques are also inside, while there is an overall open concept/ contemporary vibe. Each room has a lot of personality and unique architectural elements that bring a lot of life to the look and feel. The home is on 37 acres with no HOA and no restrictions on parking. There is a field at the entrance that makes plenty of room for trailers and parking and the home is up a driveway (almost a mile) from that area. The home is 2 hours north of Atlanta. There are plenty of nearby places for crew to stay over as needed. The main room is full of glass doors that can be opened up (weather permitting) to enjoy more views of the mountains. The clearest days for views are right after a rain (it's called the BLUE RIDGE mountains because of a blue haze over the mountains, but that haze clears after a rain.) Snow is rare, but it makes for beautiful filming here. You can see the valley below as well as the mountains all around from the deck and the main room. We keep the trees cut down to maximize the views here. There really is nothing like our place with the private woods and trails and the majestic views. Inside is nothing short of extraordinary. No room is without personality and character. There is a large tree when you first walk in that separates the living room and kitchen. The walls are either wood or stone. INside feels like you are inside of a tree at times because of all the wood. The deck has a unique vibe because the posts are made of locus trees that came from the property and the side has an artistic rhododendron branches woven to make the railings. There is a porch swing and sofa area to take in the breathtaking views. We have a staircase inside to the basement, but there is a ramp on the deck, so the full house is accessible (including treehouse) for those in a wheelchair. You may move any furniture as needed and anything that isn't nailed into the walls can also be moved. Let us know if you need Christmas decor - we can oblige. Crew may also use the refrigerator/oven/microwave as needed. Well water usage is limited (for example you can't run a dishwasher and washing machine at the same time). Main floor (where the deck is) has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom as well as the kitchen, dining room, living room and a den. The den has a wood burning fireplace and the living room has a gas burning fireplace. The first floor has the 3 car garage, a bunk room, and 2 bedrooms (including the tee-pee room). Both lower bedrooms have an adjoining bathroom. The treehouse connects via a breezeway off the deck on the main floor. No "adult films" or horror films may be filmed on our property.
