With 9'9" ceilings, tall windows, and layered lighting throughout, the home offers flexible filming environments with natural light and multiple lighting zones. The parlor, dining area, and kitchen connect through wide openings, allowing long sightlines and multi-room camera setups. This layout makes it easy to stage scenes across multiple rooms or capture depth in wide shots. The two bedroom suites receive soft morning light and look out onto soaring evergreen trees and a natural garden, providing a pleasant view beyond the windows rather than nearby buildings. The space offers several built-in lighting options, all on dimmer controls, including: • ceiling-mounted bulbs • pendant lights • wall sconces • floor lamps • kitchen under-cabinet lighting Windows are fitted with Levelor blinds, allowing natural light to be softened or partially controlled when needed. Sound •Space is not soundproof •Ambient noise description •The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood several streets away from major arterial roads. •Occasional vehicle noise can sometimes be heard, but overall the area is calm and typical of a residential setting. •We frequently record audio in our upstairs studio and rarely encounter issues with ambient noise. As with most residential locations, occasional neighborhood sounds may occur, but the space is generally well-suited for interviews and small video productions. Space access •Crew access •Stairs, Ground Floor Equipment loading description •Equipment can be loaded in from the carport area, with a short path up one deck stair and a brief flight of steps to the main floor entrance. •Alternatively, access is available through the front door, which is one small step up from the front walkway to the front porch. •Exterior doors are approximately 36" wide, allowing larger equipment and appliances to pass through. •Standard residential access, but workable for typical small production gear load-in. •Staging area is available •Both bedroom suites can be used as staging areas for wardrobe, makeup, or crew preparation. The formal parlor features soft-close barn doors, allowing the room to be closed off if needed. •Our expansive lower-level lounge may be available as an add-on for larger productions and includes a kitchenette, refrigerator, and large sectional seating area. Please inquire for details. •Some rooms are off-limits for shooting •The upper level and lower-level lounge are not included in the main listing. Backyard access may be available as an add-on for staging, breaks, or crew use. Filming in the backyard requires prior approval and separate booking arrangements. •Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed Electrical Electrical system description The home has a standard residential electrical system with multiple outlets throughout the main floor. Lighting, kitchen appliances, and recording equipment are frequently used simultaneously and breaker trips are rare. The circuit breaker panel is accessible if needed. Additional 220V power is available from the garage and may be used with advance coordination for productions requiring higher power loads.
