About This Space
[{ $ctrl.listing.property_size | number }] sq ft
Beautiful private manor house built in the mid 1700s and added on to in the 1920s. The house retains much of the original character. There are beautiful archways in the hallway, original fireplaces, wood floors and lots of stone walls and a stone foundation in the basement. This listing includes use of the grounds pictured adjacent to the house. Other areas of the property can be requested and negotiated.
There is a1920s cottage on the property that will be listed separately. There are also two circa 1900 elevated train cars from NYC overlooking the lake and a large barn that will have separate listings. The entire property is 6.77 acres.
The property was part of Sanita Hills Camp in the 1930s. The Manor House was the administration building and housed a dining hall. The train cars are the last remaining of approximately 84 that were brought here to the original 1100 acres that was the camp.
