This charming early-1900s detached home in Arnprior, Ontario offers a distinctive small-town exterior with plenty of character for film, television, commercial and photography productions.
The home features a welcoming wraparound covered porch extending across the front and around the side of the property, creating multiple angles and sightlines for exterior filming. The porch features a beautiful natural pine ceiling, exposed wood posts and new white vertical board-and-batten siding, combining traditional century-home character with a fresh, updated finish.
The remainder of the home has been completely updated with new white horizontal siding, complemented by decorative white scalloped detailing within the upper front gable.
A standout feature is the home’s new 3/4-glass front entry door with a full-length glass sidelight, providing an attractive focal point for arrival and doorway scenes. The door is finished in a playful pastel pink from the Barbie™ BeautiTone paint collection, adding a subtle pop of colour against the crisp white exterior.
Wide wooden front steps lead onto the covered porch, while mature trees, established greenery, front gardens and lawn provide a natural backdrop and help give the property an established, welcoming appearance.
Located in the Ottawa Valley community of Arnprior, the property offers the look of a classic small-town family home while retaining enough neutral exterior elements to be dressed for a variety of productions. It could work particularly well as a family residence, small-town home, century property, romantic-comedy setting or Christmas/holiday movie location.

Filming Availability
The property is currently being offered primarily for exterior filming, including the front façade, wraparound porch, front steps, yard and other agreed-upon exterior areas. Temporary seasonal or production set dressing may be considered with advance approval.
The approximately 700 sq. ft. main level interior is currently undergoing a full renovation and remains gutted and unfinished, which is why interior filming is not presently being offered as part of the standard location rental.
However, there is a unique opportunity for the right production. Interior availability may be discussed if an agreement can be reached to finish or transform a specific portion of the approximately 700 sq. ft. main level for production use. This could allow a production to create a purpose-designed interior filming space while contributing to the permanent completion of that area of the home.
Any such arrangement would be negotiated separately and would require advance agreement regarding the scope of work, materials, design, contractors, ownership of improvements and restoration or permanent finishes following production.
