The School — Exclusive Greenpoint School Location

The School is a former elementary school in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, available as an exclusive whole-location rental for film, television, video and photography. Approximately 19,600 square feet, based on publicly reported school-building area; the adjoining convent is not included. Your booking includes a large auditorium, six large classrooms, two industrial kitchens and two large dressing rooms, together with connecting corridors and stairways. Film across multiple interiors while keeping room for wardrobe, talent holding, green rooms and production overflow in the same location. We book one production at a time, so the school is reserved for your team during agreed access hours. The rooms are included together, rather than rented as separate add-ons. Maximum total headcount is 400, subject to the approved layout and permitted occupancy. The asking rate is $1,000 per hour with a ten-hour minimum ($10,000 for a ten-hour whole-school production day), negotiable by custom quote. Setup, load-in and wrap count toward booked time. Standard request hours are 8am–8pm daily; alternative access requires advance agreement. Platform fees and applicable taxes may be additional. Scout visits and bookings are available now. Loading is on the street, subject to available curb space and posted restrictions. No reserved or guaranteed street parking is included. Productions arrange any required NYC permits for held street parking. Confirm vehicle sizes and the load-in plan before booking. There are no security cameras and no overnight lodging. Kitchen rooms are included; appliance operation, cooking and specialist production activity are reviewed in advance. Current furnishings, power, equipment access and the rental boundary are confirmed during booking. The venue does not sell alcohol or hold an alcohol licence; proposed BYO events require advance approval and applicable permits.
